Memories
Claire, your AI assistant on the Colleague.ai platform, is designed to be a knowledgeable colleague. Claire has a "Memory" feature that allows her to remember key information from your conversations to personalize your experience.
Note: This feature is only available to teacher accounts.
What are Memories?
Memories allow Claire to recall important context about your role, your students, and your professional preferences. This helps personalize future interactions and makes Claire a more effective assistant, saving you from repeating information.
For example, Claire can remember:
-
Your grade level and the subjects you teach.
-
Specific curriculum goals or state standards you are focusing on.
-
Your preferences for lesson plan formats or differentiation strategies.
-
Context about a specific class (e.g., "My 3rd-period class struggles with fractions" or "My 2nd-period class is advanced").
Creating Memories
Memories can be created in two ways:
-
Automatically: As you chat with Claire, Claire will proactively identify and save key details that seem important for future reference.
-
Example: "I am an 8th-grade history teacher preparing a unit on the Civil War."
-
Example: "I prefer all my lesson plans to include an 'assessment' section."
-
-
Manually: You can explicitly ask Claire to remember specific information at any time.
-
Example: "Please remember that my planning period is 4th period."
-
Example: "Remember this: My class is focusing on differentiated instruction for the next two weeks."
-
